Dear Youth families,
I am excited to share information regarding Confirmation Class 2026! This year’s joint confirmation class will follow a structure similar to the one held three years ago.
We have partnered up with New Dover UMC (Edison), Trinity UMC (South Amboy) and Sayreville UMC (Sayreville) to provide the best experience for our youth!
Who Can Participate: 7th grade and up.
Class Schedule: Classes will begin on Sunday, January 25, 2026, and will meet approximately every three weeks from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Finalized schedule & attendance policy will be provided early January.
Teaching Team: Lessons will be taught by a combination of Pastors, Youth Leaders, Lay Leaders, and members of congregations, as we are currently finalizing the teaching schedule and lesson plans.
As we continue preparing course dates, materials, and assignments, more detailed information will be shared soon.
In the meantime, please email me the following information of your youth:
*Mentor (sponsor) is an adult who acts as a guide or special friend. Mentors are ideally a member of our congregation who actively attends service. The mentor youth select will need to pray for youth and all who are a part of the confirmation experience, attend worship with you, and participate in Confirmation Sunday Worship.
